It’s important to address this, but don’t expect a 25% gain in revenue by fixing mobility issues. The same CDC report says that mobility issues affect 1 in 7 people, or about 14%.
seems like such a simple idea. my wife, who uses a wheelchair, has become used to cashiers looking right over the top of her head to address me instead. i have taken to keeping silent so they are forced to recognize her as the one making the purchase. little things mean a lot to people in wheelchairs who would just like to be treated like anyone else.
You know what absolutely infuriates Republicans? When doing the right thing, strengthening the weak, actually increases profits.
