Just looking at the video thumbnail is amazing. The cerebellum looks like a tree or veined leaf.
I’m at work and muted, so I don’t know what sound there as, but all I could imagine was some kind of somber voiceover:
“The human mind. Simultaneously one of the most creative and ingenious, and also the most devious and destructive organs on the known earth…”
Also, watching a cross section at such a high level of resolution and frame-rate (in the animation sense) always makes me think about flatland, and what 2 dimensional people would experience watching a 3 dimensional creature pass through, and thus what it feels like to watch us grow and change through time.
Why did they need SEVEN cars to do a brain scan???
Halfway into the video I realized my edibles from last night have not completely worn off.
There isn’t any sound. None-the-less I wore my headphones to the end.
