Is there any Good News for Privacy and consumer/public rights on the Web?


In the wake of Snowden it seems like every other day a new thing is found out that scares me a little and makes me want to go to the EFF and go ‘look I don’t have much money but take it. You need it more than me, I can afford to not eat this week.’ Is there anything going on that’s positive and hopeful that it isn’t all government/corporate spying and trying to see who can one-up who on screwing We the People over?


Open source encryption still works. The math is sound. There are no imaginary quantum computers out there.

That’s about all I got.


Well, backhoes still have an insatiable appetite for lit fiber, so sometimes parts of it go down. But, that aside, the present and future look panopticontastic.
