Is water better at freeing up rusty nuts and bolts than penetrating oil? This guy finds out

That he apparently didn’t account for the faster evaporation of water compared to these oils on the open-air “climbing” tests makes them essentially useless. I’m not saying water is better, just that the methodology is severely flawed.

I knew a very nice elderly lady she used to smear vegetable fat on her wooden doors and windows to stop them sticking

Naval Jelly is for people who plan ahead. Diet Coke is for those whose knuckles are already bloodied and have reluctantly realized this project needs some ‘sit-and-soak’ time, and while they’re at it, maybe a break for some pop.

About being an Old, always remember: It ain’t the years - it’s the mileage.

Unreleased nut bolts? Fire.

(Isn’t that standard text from a police manual?)

You know without context, that puts some really interesting images in the head that I now cannot remove

i’m no maker so i don’t know why i’m even here. Now you’ve been warned but wouldn’t some serious vibrations help? Time to repurpose your magic wand or even Sybian.
