It's not just you — social security scam phone calls are 23 times more common this year

Chinese Visa Scam calls: Are these delivered in Chinese? If so I’ve been getting at least one a day to my cellphone. Not being a speaker of Chinese I’ve had no idea what they are about. I guess that portable speaker company or mobile battery company I did reviews for sold my number. Probably the battery company because the battery they sent me was designed for an iPhone and I’m an Android user. Damn thing had a built in firewire cable or whatever they are using over at the fruit company these days,

Yes, they are in mandarin. They claim to have important documents and threaten you with deportation or arrest unless you send money or provide your personal details.

That is kind of brilliantly evil. These guys are really good at being shitheads. If only they would use their power for good!

I have just received some calls from 332-331-8595. Luckily I didn’t pick them up. Googled up the number and found some reports filed at https://www.whycall.me/332-331-8595.html about similar social security scams since few months ago. We should be aware of these scams now, and keep spreading the word.
