When Merv was young and broadcasting from The Little Theater, his shows were fascinating.
Almost no one will care, but I think I should point out that the post’s “Bob Dylan Screen Test” is not really the complete film, but rather brief extracts looped for about three minutes, probably culled from Scorsese’s No Direction Home.
The joke would be on Andy Warhol three years later, when crazy ol’ Valerie Solanas up and plugged him for having too much control over her life.
