I couldn’t get into Lore when it first came out. I guess you can only hear “some say…” and “legend has it…” so many times. Maybe I’ll give it another shot.

I love Lore myself, but the host has a few quirks, I agree.
“You see…” ← that one could become a drinking game.
Because sometimes the truth is more frightening than fiction.
Whenever I hear that phrase I think, odds are this is followed by some bullshit

Yes, by and large. Those are defining parts of US history and have played an enormous role in everything that has happened since Europeans first came to the continent.
