I was there many, many times. I grew up on the West Bank and my grandparents bought memberships (annual passes?) so we rode the gondola across the river to visit the fair whenever the fancy struck us. I was 5, so the photos are likely in a shoebox somewhere, though. Now I really want to find them.

I went there with my significant other at the time, and was not very impressed. The thing I remember was getting a parking violation 6 months after leaving NO; I had to prove I wasn’t even in Louisiana when I was cited.
