In fact, it was already linked to in Elsewhere and I thought of you immediately!
This is a well-known tragedy in Chicago – for those who care about history, at least – but when I watched this particular video it really brought home to me how it actually had a lasting effect on Michigan City, Indiana as well, despite the fact I’ve never seen anyone make that connection. (Explaining that in detail is definitely more local history than people here probably care about!)
