I’ve read a couple of books about John Brown (and others that touch on him) and I think they did a fantastic job covering this event. I also appreciated that they filmed this at and around Harper’s Ferry.
An interesting look at historic Green Book locations in the US. It focuses on traveling while Black - challenges faced by entertainers, athletes, and other workers due to segregation, redlining, or migration. The strategies for safety and methods to minimize risk are still in use today.
