Man unwittingly snaps photo of kid stealing his girlfriend's watch

For anyone debating whether these kids are being forced by their parents to steal, go ahead and track down the original Reddit thread about it. The thread is full of stories and numerous photos of these two (or other similarly clothed) children who are being encouraged by nearby parental figures.

I visited Chaingmai, Thailand last December at this very same place. I’m
Hmong myself and these kids were hassled by their parents who stood at
the edge of the stairs demanding them to sing and wave to get money or
else they were going to get a beating. All this said in the Hmong
language and I was so appalled when I heard them. The kids are nice.
They’re not doing it for themselves. Sadly it’s the parents. Same thing
happens at touristy hmong locations in Northern Thailand.
