That’s like the ultimate trust fall sort of thing. The heartbeat/breath monitoring was fascinating, although in general I find such performance pieces not usually my cup of tea.
You and I may differ on this. Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson is more my speed.
I guess what I’m trying to say is that EB had his absurdist moments but usually without the pointy, dangerous bits.

But way, way more dangerous. In later interviews they’ve pointed out that there was no artifice to this thing, for example in the way that a circus act can look hair raising but in reality might have any number of invisible safety features. In this performance piece however, a slip up would have seriously injured her, possibly even fatally so.
