In 1950 Lloyd Bentsen called on President Truman to consider nuking several Korean cities. This was the ‘left’ position; Bentsen ran as a Democratic VP candidate (with Dukakis).

If you hack the F-35’s maintenance/logistics system (I forget what it’s called this month) you can both deduce which missions are planned where and potentially make sure the planes stay grounded.
