I’m so torn by this. The transport dude who’s written customer specs for new stations in me is quietly nodding. It’s a busy station with both Harajuku and Yoyogi Park and it’s just not equipped for the number of passengers it takes today. On other hand, it’s a beautiful chaos in one of the last of the old stations on the Yamanote line. I’ll always associate it with cabaret punks, anime meetings and loligoths eating ice cream in the summer sun.
