Odd Stuff (Part 1)

Oh, I think not. See para. 70 for example.

But definitely very pissed off.

She says herself that she knows she’s not using normal legal language but to paraphrase, she’s had enough and is now going to express herself as she see fit and it’s up to the judges to deal with it.

Although she puts it far better (para 62). I’d paste quotes but I can’t get Google docs to select more than a word at a time.

I have no idea whether her claim or her argument in this filing has any merit but she’s definitely succeeding in explaining exactly how pissed off she is.

Also it’s perfectly obvious that the beating unconscious is entirely metaphorical.

If I’m not mistaken, Coach Z is almost always a rapper or musician of some kind…

While I have my doubts that he really thought that ginger sugar pop had health benefits, he’s right that homeopathic quantities of actual ginger is a cheat.

I will say that as a kid, whenever I was sick with something that included nausea, my mom would get me some ginger ale (probably Canada Dry) and that would settle my stomach… Whether it’s placebo or whatever, ginger still helps with nausea for me. If I’m on a trip and am not driving, I usually take ginger candy or something similar with me to help with motion sickness. :woman_shrugging:

Why, yes, you can register an XSS attack as a UK company name. How do we know that? Someone actually did it

Companies House has blocked someone who registered a new biz with a name that contained the right characters arranged in the right order to trigger a cross-site scripting (XSS) attack against users of the service’s API.

I’m still waiting for the train to New Zealand.

being originally from Michigan, mom gave me Vernors, which was much more ginger-y and fizzy than ordinary ginger ale. of course now, the company has been sold and they’ve monkey-ed with the formula but still more ginger-y than Schweppes, Canada Dry etc. it seems like they mostly sweetened it, to my memory.
of course now, most bars and supermarkets carry Jamaican style ginger beer (probably on the mixer aisle not soft drinks aisle) which will fix you up toot sweet. bit of a burn going down, though. a great perk of a workplace with a bar is that any day my stomach is upset I just ask the bartender for a ginger beer and the cocktail-sized bottle is perfect.
of course, fresh ginger root is best if you’ve got it.
