Random thought. not sure where to post this so im posting in this odd stuff thread. I get that Boingboing relies on ad revenue and I don’t fault them for it, but dang this company “revcontent” that is posting ads is the spammiest sort of garbage. For a while every other ad i was seeing was for screw in teeth. I really hate the ones that use a totally misleading graphic of some creepy or gross looking thing that isn’t what the headline says. That pouring coffee on a raw egg is a good example. but a lot of times it will mention some health condition and have a closeup of some bizarre plant or sea creature or something. I’m definitely not clicking on these things. And i feel like it’s exploitative of the kind of people gullible enough to actually click on them…
