Oklahoma governor must move daughter’s mobile home from mansion grounds

Joe, no worries. Just snark about OKC not being a city. It ain’t New York or Paris, but it does have its charms.

Obviously she and her mom had a Fallin out and now she’s Fallin on hard times.

Come on, people.

Not after McVeigh was done… Too soon?

Great. Now if the county can just get Governor Fallin to do something about all those so-called “Project Cars” cluttering up the lawn…

What’s wrong on having spare parts stored on one’s property? Except perhaps injuring somebody’s fragile aesthetic sensibilities?

Well, that kinda highlights the real issue here.

That the taxpayers are footing the bill for the trailer’s power is really only a problem in principle. The real problem is that the code (building code?) has a stipulation that a trailer can’t be used this way. What justification is there for this ridiculous restriction?

Plenty of cities have such policies. Mostly justified with keeping out the poor up property values.
