Well, that kinda highlights the real issue here.
That the taxpayers are footing the bill for the trailer’s power is really only a problem in principle. The real problem is that the code (building code?) has a stipulation that a trailer can’t be used this way. What justification is there for this ridiculous restriction?
Plenty of cities have such policies. Mostly justified with keeping out the poor up property values.
