Old routers to blame for bad wireless internet

That’s a pretty weak attempt even for a (student?) “concept”. If the idea is to make something not look like some cheap piece of electronics you’d rather hide in a closet, then I’d seriously reconsider:

  1. Making it out of glossy router-grey plastic with a big-ass seam on the side.
  2. Putting a big ugly black row of techy, presumably blinking icons right in the front. We know it’s the front because the big ugly row of ethernet ports is not visible.
  3. Putting a big ugly logo under 2. (complete with slogan!) and ruining the whole monochrome vibe for the sake of a brightly colored corporate identity smudge.
  4. Doesn’t filling it with water degrade the wifi signal considerably? Talk about self-defeating design.

Maybe the “let’s make it pretty so people aren’t embarrassed to leave it out in the open” school of router design has merit, but this ain’t it.
