My first thought was, “Even if it’s useful, what are the chances I’ll convince anyone I know to use it?”
It will be easier to continue using SMS messages than to get friends to use this app.

This looks vastly more complicated than the stock sms app on android.

Come to think of it, all Pip’s options could be added to a conventional SMS client on a smartphone, and you could send the messages to anyone who has any mobile phone.
