If he had explained how gzip works and how you can transform a prime’s base-256 representation into an input for that, that might have been more useful.

Yeah, that might be quite interesting; my extremely light reference search yields very fuzzy information. Somehow the gzip of the source gives a prime number? Is that something that happens often? (That would be fascinating.) Or did they just play around with the whitespace and comments until that was the case?
