Post your Pet or animal Pics (Part 2)

Six weeks old today. The purpose of the litter pan is still a mystery to two of them, but today the calico runt figured it out. The tabby girl has incredibly long legs and a killer instinct. The big orange boi is either a fluffy potato or pingpong ball.

And now Texas weighs in,. I can’t decide if clarifying the law is good or if they are really trying to stop the practice.

It’s Texas so assuming the worse is reasonable but who knows.

This is bad. Paxton ruins everything he touches

oh, yes indeed. that is true.
when MoRon DeSantis feels he is being out-crueled by texas (again) he may decide to set the FL AG to the task of making the practice illegal here as well, which will make criminals of the mum, me and our friends across the street. in addition to the ferals, idiots keep dumping cats on our street because we are at the dead end bordering a vast mangrove hammock. we do the best we can to keep the population controlled, but it should be the heartless bastards abandoning the cats that are punished.

If they decide the release part of TNR is not abandonment then that’s good.

If they decide the release part is abandonment then the feral cat population will grow because people won’t risk violations and fines or worse.

Why can’t people just let the people who know what they’re doing who actually care about animals do what’s right.

Another freeloader showed up today. The neighbors hate these guys but we love them, they are so cute.

Just another mouth to feed, he was poking around under one of the bird feeders so I left him some oats along his path.

See ya, gotta go.

opened the back door to find this pretty boi. he seems to be considering the coconut coir bundled around the orchid, thinking “the mrs. has been after me to fix that hole in the nest… hmm. hey! i saw some sunflower seeds over there. i should check that out.”

We got home the other day and one of the wise men was looking over the edge wondering wtf happened. Old Man went on a Godzilla in the city rampage while we were gone. He even managed to get some oranges on the floor that were in a bowl on the table. He got on the shelf, he hasn’t been up there in a while but the rail kept everything up there in one piece.

At night when we’re sleeping he throws that candy onto the floor one piece at a time.

Him and his sister were relaxing after the incident.

I treated Mrs. Feral to some shrimp on New Years Eve but she had to kill it first.

Three of our cats attack any fresh produces left out, they don’t eat it they just rub on it.

This one will fish the little stems from baby spinach and carrot peels out of the sink and eat them. She also likes my sourdough starter and raw bread dough on baking days. She was close to starving when she was dumped at the local shelter as a 4-5 week old kitten, and the body memory of that must be strong.

Yeah. We have one who likes spinach and strawberry tops. Goes wild for cat grass. I have to remove the tomato greens from tomatoes because she will try to eat those too.

Saw this shingleback/bobtail lizard in the dunes behind the beach.

Wait, I just realized you have a crèche of cat figurines? Cat shepherds, and a holy kitten in the manger? And a tiny cat tree decorated with tiny lights?
