Yes, those ear tufts! And to @anon67050589’s point, I read somewhere a while ago that something like 80% of cats here have some Maine coon genes, but she does seem to show more than most.
I think she’ll get snapped right up, she’s a real sweetheart.
I’m really glad we took her in. She loved being with the other foster cats we had a couple weeks ago, and last week she went into heat, so if she’d still been living outside she’d likely be pregnant now and further burdening the foster system.
I need to get a gallon of that stuff, it’s the only thing that calms our oldest thyroid kitty down. We use it occasionally when he just won’t calm down.
Look at that mad little face…
Yeah, that face says, “Let meowt!”
She managed to escape several times this weekend. Once I found her hiding behind the big black bag with plastic bottles that I separated for the recycling man.
ETA that kitten´s great breakout was impressive!
My current trip took me to Malaysia and the Batu Caves outside Kuala Lumpur. The caves are a Hindu shrine/temple complex overrun by wild monkeys who are fed with offerings there. Since today (10/24) is Diwali, the area was crowded with the faithful bringing stuff.
Oh, I’ve been there. Are the monkeys still really grabby?
They weren’t at the time because of the piles of offerings at the cave entrance.
Stacks of coconuts and bananas were left for them for the festival and people kept a distance for the most part.
My wife saw Mrs. Outside Feral playing with something in the neighbor’s yard, she went over and rescued this guy then gave Mrs. Feral a good talking to.
Wow!
Last night I was watching “how to” videos about Sumi e art, and this photo totally reminds me of that art style.
i know you say he is old and frail, but i absolutely adore that cat!
in fact, when i see that you have a new post on this thread, i think to myself, “ooh! i hope it’s a picture of Old Man! i love that kitteh!” such a lovely face!
