You are doing great!
Just like people, no two kitties (or doggos) are the same. Also, you should feel comfortable with your animalâs healthcare provider.
Aww the kittehs are playing.
youâd never see three toms cuddling like that in my neighborhoodâred in tooth and claw around here
Thank you for the expanded explanation!
Por nada. You´re welcome.
It was hard to find a good vet. We found this one, who is very nice and really seems to like animals.
Is the squirrel splooting? It is definitely warmer than normal this week.
It was about 60 out so not really hot. He was eating nuts and when they ran out he just assumed the position, so maybe itâs just a comfortable way to lay serving no purpose other than be comfortable.
He is a bit goofy. You should see him hide the nuts in the neighborâs yard, instead of taking the shortest route he runs along the top of the seawall near the water making the journey considerably longer and more nerve racking for us. Heâs come to the door on more than one occasion very wet when it hasnât rained in days. Heâs been swimming a few times.
Squirrels have a thing where they look scatterbrained but itâs actually being clever. Long roundabout routes are that much harder for potential thieves to notice and follow. Fake stops help too.
If Roar! and The Ghost and the Darkness have taught me anything, itâs that I really donât want lions in my neighborhood of I can help it.
ManeirĂssimo! Cool birds.
Maybe itâs a Fall thing and my body trying to prepare for the cold weather ahead, but Iâm already at stage â60 is too hot for outdoor physical activityâ, possibly further spurred by stacking 4 cords of wood last weekend. If that squirrel is splooting, I stand/rest in solidarity!
[I really, really hate hot the older I get. Those who choose to retire in the UP? I feel it.]
Build a frame and cover it with chicken wire. You can still have your breezes, and it would be a great distraction from the furniture if she wants to climb. I donât know for sure if it would work. Just an idea.
