He may not have had a passport, but he was received with full military honours at Le Bourget when his mummy was sent to France for repairs. Not sure if they lost his bags.
Ramesses was then sent to Saclay for gamma irradiation by cobalt 60 to remove the insect and fungal life that had been dining on his corpse. After the machine went BING! he was returned to Egypt, once again being seen off at the airport by a French Cabinet minister.
