I think it would make it a lot easier for Swat.
Then it will probably sulk and refuse to clean.
To those who own a Roomba (or similar device): How do they fare in multi-room flats/houses? Do you need multiple Roombas? Do they navigate to a different room after they finished the first? What prevents them from cleaning a room multiple times?
I presume it has to do with their path finding. They will make some redundant roaming the first few times they encounter a room as they clean to determine a layout. Once they’ve learned what your layout is they are more efficient at cleaning. If there is a door or access to a new area they will inherently stumble upon it unless it is sectioned off.
Sure, you wouldn’t want them to trip over the sofa when they’re busting through the doors and windows.
In case of the 980, what do you suppose it builds the map for? O_o
Yes, they do work well over many rooms, but they still don’t climb the bloody stairs and can’t tell height below furniture (so they get stuck from time to time if you don’t find a solution. Or throw over the small sideboard.)
