There’s also one in Otford, England that I’ve technically only seen one small part of. That’s because, although the solar system fits within their village boundaries, they roughly figured that Proxima Centari would be in Los Angeles at that scale. So, hidden on a little pillar by the elevator near the Griffith Observatory gift shop is a 3mm sphere representing our closest star.

They considered adding models for Alpha Canis Major (Sydney, Australia) and Barnard’s Star (Falkland Islands)
