Last night I found out that someone I personally knew is still “among the missing.” Before that it was “just” acquaintances-of-acquaintances.

There are a lot of BBS participants here active in the Bay Area art and music scenes who are likely one or two degrees of separation from the victims. Please bear that in mind before posting glib responses.

This fire was/is a tragic event. I only wish to convey my condolences to all those affected - directly and indirectly.
