Ok there were definitely bugs here. As suspected, suspended users were not force logged out and suspension reason may have only displayed if you logged in with username and password (versus, say, Google or Facebook).
Should be all fixed now courtesy of @neil and thanks for bringing it to our attention.

I’d say no but thats because I think publicly shaming someone is kinda horrible.
