Stephen Wolfram explains his "personal infrastructure"

Wolfram, in the article posted on this page: “But starting last fall—whenever the weather’s been good—I’ve tried to spend a couple of hours of each day walking outside like this:” (photo of himself walking outside with laptop strapped to his chest)

So uh, he’s halfway there!

Re: walking and typing on the chest-attached laptop:
You couldn’t even walk down a sidewalk with this. You cannot see, and/or are not paying attention to, where you are stepping. A rock or a root or a crack is going to trip you up. Why is he pretending this “works”?

I tried to write that out once, but I kept having to re-use the word “squint”.

Went zorbing a couple years ago. It was a blast.

It’s on my list of fun things to try but so far I haven’t had the opportunity.

If you go to New Zealand, there’s places where they’ll stick you in a Zorb half-filled with warm water and roll you down a hillside into a lake. It’s like being in a bumpy washing machine, and after splashdown, they tow you back to shore and dump you out. It’s a unique experience!
