Stunning footage of flowers submerged, burned, and frozen

The photography is really nice, with the time lapse. But beyond pretty, I don’t see it; the burning rose was interesting because the fire had to be reapplied because it was too green to catch and burn on the first go. But the final part, of the pigmented fluids over the submerged flowers, just called to mind something you might buy soon at Spencer’s?

But I could just be kind of cheesed that he titled that second video Myst and it’s not Myst.

A good illustration of why ‘gilding the lily’ is not a complimentary phrase. A desperate attempt at creativity.

Pretty images, but that music is loud and obvious.

A very pretty film of flowers being subjected to various indignities.
