Alas, the only way to sext was to send an ASCII picture. Actually, an engineer stationed with me -did- try something similar to that out, and I saw a rather crude (at the time) depiction of getting the “bird” flipped at you, the reader.
As for his claim to be the first to use the name EMAIL, I’d pull out my BYTE magazines, 1975-, but I don’t have time for that rabbit hole right now.
