trying to use anything short of fully autonomous self driving seems really dangerous. If you’re not paying enough attention to actually drive the car, you won’t be able to react in an emergency.

Seems like Tesla could implement an “awareness” feature that works with autopilot: ie, eyes on road most of the time

@ToMajorTom: The problem is that the human brain is not wired to constantly monitor something, for hours at a time, that requires no intervention at a 99.99+ percent rate. We have learned that from some catastrophic accidents in the railroad and airline sectors. Better off with no “autopilot” at all.
