And even then he got the title to one of the Glenn Miller songs wrong (Chattanooga Choo Choo, not Kalamazoo).
I had an argument recently with my teenage daughter where she contended that a pop music piece ceased to be pop music once it was no longer current. Ex: the Rolling Stones is no longer pop- its classic rock. I wasn’t buying it but I guess that just makes me officially an old fart.
The context was my pointing out a Stones cover with a tuba baseline, (since she’s learning to play euphonium) by saying “there’s a pop song with a tuba”. She doesn’t trust me when I tell her that the coolest of alternative bands would love to have a horn player for bass.
Excuse me, I think you meant “Devolution”!
Scott Joplin?
I love this, but also that was the whitest Glenn Miller I have ever heard. I didn’t even think that was possible. I thought it was already Completely White.
he skipped 1998
