That’s bullshit. Pretty much all of the languages offered have existed for centuries!

I used Duolingo to brush up on a second language I spoke pretty well, but hadn’t used in a while. It was helpful. I tried to use it to learn a new (for me) language and it didn’t quite click. (No, it wasn’t Khoisan)
My hovercraft is full of eels.
