The problem with those guys is that the cabling for them makes USB-C woes look like a bargain. Almost $500 and you haven’t even gotten to installing the optogenetic cannula yet…

I find that letting the mouse clear your browser cookies at regular intervals keeps it in good operating condition.
There is, though, a risk of accuracy problems creeping in when your pointing device forms associations between certain types of clicks and food rewards. If anyone asks that’s definitely why I appear to waste a lot of time on the internet.
