As is tradition let’s us roast the newest addition to the BoingBoing Store.

I have a similar microscope for $30. My has the same magnification and LEDs. I guess you are paying for the stand? Or maybe mine is lying about it’s magnification? How would I know?

The ad is a bit of a bait and switch.

The photo on the Boing Boing post is of the more expensive DX-2 model, but the ad copy and the price is for the less expensive DX-1 model. The Stack Social store sells both.
