Ticketmaster stung by undercover journalists, who reveal that the company deliberately enables scalpers and rips off artists

Because if venues don’t give them their cut, they are cut off from booking bands managed by Livenation which is most of the big names. And bands that don’t sign on (Pearljam, anyone?) get locked out of the bigger venues. This is exactly what anti-monopoly laws are supposed to protect us from.
