I would look hard at the doctors writing the scrips for this. Maybe they think that weight reduction will prevent type 2 from happening, so it”s ok. Maybe they see a way to make money. Maybe they are willing to exploit anxious patients. I gave the nurse at my doctors’ office quite a rant when I went in for some ailment, probably a persistent cough, and she started wanting to discuss my weight.
