Many online pdf tools copy documents into foreign hands. Just say’n.

Grain of salt and all, but these folks claim they deliberately don’t do that, and are pretty transparent in their privacy statement about how long any uploaded file is kept on theor servers (15 minutes) and how they monetize these tools ( a single ad on each page).
