Yup, he’s trying to convince his “supporters” to vote for Hillary, because she is the best choice out of all candidates currently running for office. But a small, vocal group of his supporters still throw fits because they think that “principles” are more important than getting the right government.
There’s a choice between the guy Sanders hates and has vowed to do anything he can to stop, and someone he has endorsed and has urged his supporters to embrace. When Trump is elected and these people are explaining why they didn’t vote for Clinton, I’m sure that the excuse “My feelings were hurt” will sound very mature. This isn’t rocket science.
Two things: Clinton could start by being consistent and not triangulating every issue, to please whatever audience she’s performing before. Therein lies the mistrust many people feel toward her.
And secondly, who likes Tim Kaine? I haven’t met a single person that he even registers with.
A lesser of the avalible ills/wrong choices/evils is not ‘the right government.’ It’s ‘eh this is what we have Iguess.’
I do not fault Bernie here, both because Hilliary is the least-worst option at the moment, and in his position I’d toe the party line to avoid splintering things and making it easy for combover to just walk in.
Plus they MIGHT actually support him next election as opposed to throwing him uner the bus and then telling him to start backing Hillary. I doubt it but never know I guess.
I’m at this stage more focusing on congress than the presidency as I dislikee clinton and live in an exceedingly red state… so probably should instead focus on ‘hey is there any chance I can help elect someone that own’t do unto her as they did unto obama and stonewall while threatening another government shutdown?’
Edit: I dislike how people are putting ‘supporters’ in quotes and equating said supporters with babies throwing a temper tantrum when Bernie got thrown under a bus, ignored, help more or less not given in favor of backing Mrs. Clinton, and it’s left most of the folk I’ve talked to that are Pro-Bernie Anti-Clinton with a feeling that Bernie was the side-show to get people hopeful it wouldn’t be business as usual and build up an active enthusiastic younger base of voters that are already dissatisfied with government as-is and then quietly killing his chances while ordering him to try getting that segment that wouldn’t have any inclination to vote if it had been Clinton running alone as the Annointed One.
Agree entirely.
Daily Mail to be specific. And a very amusing article it was too. Said Michelle hated her cos she was always acting like it was her home and the Obama’s were just keeping it warm. As I said a rumor. You could always write the Daily Mail a letter complaining.
But you told me I was a Russian troll like 20x. Why are you bothering to argue with me? Cant you waste your time with some other Russian troll tovarische?
And with regard to why the Obamas are supporting the Clintons, well it could be cos of party loyalty couldnt it? The two possibilities are not mutually exclusive right? Well not here in St. Petersburg anyway. Me for example. Im probably gonna vote for Clinton even though I cant stand the woman or some of her halfwit supporters. Well I would do if I wasn’t Russian.
"Well, rumors do make the world go 'round.
knoxblox:
I don’t believe she’s strongly supporting Hillary at all. I believe she’s reluctantly supporting her.
Oh you guys with your rumors and your hunches, you’re so adorable. There is strong evidence that Michelle Obama supports Clinton strongly, in particular she says she supports Clinton strongly and is working hard to stump for her.
Here’s an article in the NYT.
Jeez, I note the existence of a rumors (which are indeed innately unreliable) and you want to remind me why I dont pay for the NYT anymore.
Perhaps you could take my throwaway comment in the same spirit as this below…

Remind me, where are those Iraqi WMD the NYT told us so much about?
And whether the Obama’s really hang out with the Clintons in their spare time? I dont know, but would it be ok if I exercise my own judgement based on the limited information we have? After all, good Democrats would support each other even if they didnt actually like each other.
I’ve had enough of Nobby and Phreno’s bickering.
