And this is why I get upset when I hear the term ‘AI’ applied to devices like this. Alexa is very limited in supported syntax and can’t tell a TV non-owner voice from a local owner voice. Truly ‘Intelligent’. We haven’t had a breakthrough in AI ever. Just incremental improvements to pattern recognition (e.g. voice and image) and expert systems.
