TMI moment: I tasted it. (Because, of course I did.) It’s reminiscent of melted ice cream or, probably more accurately, the milk left at the bottom of a bowl of Lucky Charms after you eat all the cereal. At any rate, my first thought was, “And we’re confused about how humans ended up with a fat and sugar consumption problem?”

That’s the scientist in you. I considered it, and then realized that I honestly didn’t care what it tasted like. I’m not a milk drinker anyway.

Yeah, sweet milk is a darned good way to get newborns to put on weight quickly. Which is a good thing…but not forever.
