Sounds like phrenology to me… At least my typing rate and patterns vary wildly depending on the time of day, my physical and mental state, and even which keyboard I’m on.

I think most variation in mine is due to whether or not I’m eating a sandwich while typing (yes, I do mean that literally, it’s not a euphemism).
