Never thought i’d miss the lib dems but they did put a stop to v1.0 of this clusterfuck. The thing i’m hoping will help scupper this is the cost of implementing it, maybe improving general apathy when people realise their broadband bills are going to rise.

The solution is obvious. Buy your software from a country that allows and encourages security research. Maybe the UK doesn’t really want to have a computer industry - other nations will be happy to take up the slack.
