That was awesome. Shooting stuff in slow mo will never get old.
I am a little curious about the sounds though, they add those back in later for the viewer’s benefit, yeah?

They do indeed! In fact they released a video about how they handle sound design for their videos on their second channel (video here)
ETA: they mostly do full audio replacements, but they will sometimes take sound from the actual film shot and modify it appropriately.
