I have unfortunately also seen images of degloving in safety presentations and second the caution in looking that one up. Rotating tools need a lot of respect.
When I was in high school shop I buzed a 1mm deep strip out of my finger on a table saw. It was over before I noticed and damn did that sting. Made me a bit more cautious from then on. Oh and my shop teacher cutting off his thumb on a bandsaw may have contributed to my move into a non trades career
