Wed developers: EFF needs your help with important pro-democracy tool!
“Wed, develop 'er”? (But I hardly know 'er!) 
This is most distressing: Up until now, the EFF has been a powerful force for good, promoting privacy and security: the ACLU for the Digital Age. I expected better of them than this dystopian nightmare, this plan to “develop” people, Stepford-Wives-style, to “wed.”
(I like the part about making an open source tool for contacting legislators, though.)
I’m puzzled. I’m, technically at least, a dues-paying member of the EFF, and I get an email newsletter regularly, which I at least skim. Yet this isn’t the first time I’ve heard about some new initiative of the EFF, not from the EFF itself, but from BoingBoing. Am I just not reading the newsletter carefully enough?
