Lytro gave up on their consumer-grade cameras awhile back. The inability to even view my “living pictures” without their very crappy website was why I dumped my Lytro a long time ago. It’s not surprising the servers would finally crap out, sadly.

They’ve moved into VR renderers and the Lytro Immerge professional movie camera as their main business these days.

Too bad. The tech had a lot of potential, just the implementation was crap.

Was why I never bought one, even when they started showing up pretty cheaply.
