Haha, fair. I guess I didn’t read closely enough. It is handy how labels tell one what things are.
When the job description said “serve on a ship full of hookers”, I should have inquired further.
eta: Not that stories of a (heavily armed) ship of pirate sex workers wouldn’t be interesting. “Heave to, and prepare to be boarded … for a reasonable price!”
The location in the orlop deck would allow blood, pus etc to drain into the gurry held in the bilge without fouling other deck functions. Lovely thought.
