The dash display on my 2011 Hyundai is that shade of blue, and impossible to see in daylight. It must have been approved at night, it’s the only time you can see it.

Because, in some cases, it is ‘something to fix’.
How’s your eyesight? Hearing?
Non-uniform in both departments, in my case.


Check out the left end. They distinguish colors better in (what we call) the ultraviolet than we can across the entire spectrum.

Also interesting to notice just how similar green and red are. There’s a theory that one of them arose as a mutated copy of the other. But now, since our lenses suffer chromatic aberration and can’t focus the entire spectrum, we’ve evolved to preferentially focus the red and green, and let the blue be more blurry. The effect is very obvious looking at neon lights at night.
